I love having our coffee table decorated but it also needs to be functional. I have an ottoman style coffee table because of the little ones. I’m afraid of sharp edges ?

STEP 1.

Choose a coffee table that will work for your space.

Make sure to measure before purchasing and if you need a visual of the size, use painters tape to lay out the dimensions! This is one of the reasons why I always have painters tape handy. I also use it to see measurements for wall art, furniture, etc.

Here are some neutral coffee table options that would look very beautiful.

STEP 2.

A tray will not only hold your drink, it will anchor your décor items.

STEP 3.

Add height with a large item.

This can be an interest piece or a beautiful floral arrangement, faux or natural. You can also use greenery! This will give the space some “life”.
